My Experience:

Christmas Vacation was one of the first National Lampoon movies I saw. I thought the movie was hilarious. I am laughing through the entire thing. This movie is hard not to reference.

About:

This movie is about the Griswolds known from the National Lampoon franchise. This family always has some kind of hilarious drama following them but when you add both sides of their families together for the holidays…it can only mean glorious chaos.

Perfect for December:

This movie is perfect for December because it shows the stress and joy that holidays can bring. Even if people do not like to admit it, we all experience a mix of emotions around this time of year. It can be the stress of trying to find the right gift or seeing family, but we can all enjoy the Griswolds’ family Christmas. This movie is a great escape from the stress.

The song “Christmas Vacation” sung by Mavis Staples along with the opening credits will hook you right away.

I love this movie so much that I own a moose cup. Inside my cup of cheer, goes Bailey’s: Georgetown Cupcake Red Velvet topped with whipped cream.
