Happy December!

Hey everyone, it’s already December and we all know what that means, CHRISTMAS! Just like the Thanksgiving holiday season, the Christmas holiday season can get crazy. No matter what holiday you and your family might celebrate or what the weather is like, make sure you take time to enjoy this holiday season. Don’t let the stress get to you. I know it can be hard but take some time for yourself.

There might be days where you aren’t feeling the holiday spirit and that is okay. Trust me, I have had days where I’m not into it either. When I’m not feeling it, I like to put on my favorite Christmas songs or watch one of my favorite Christmas movies and it reminds me of the spirit of Christmas. That spirit of the holiday season stays with people for generations.

People put up holiday decorations to show their enthusiasm. It is fun to drive or walk around and see the holiday displays. People are very creative with their decorations and I always enjoy seeing the variety.

It is hard not to have fun when the Whos in Whoville are singing, “Trim up the tree with Christmas stuff/Like bingle balls and Whofoo fluff/Trim up the town with goowho gums/And bizbilbix and wums.” Watching as your tree comes together, there is always that favorite ornament that you need to find the perfect spot to hang. Once you find that spot, your tree is perfect.

Supply chain shortages are still happening so finding the perfect gift for someone can be tricky. You may have to get creative for those gifts. Remember, sometimes the best and most memorable gifts are the ones that are homemade.
