Happy November everyone. These last few years have been tough for everyone and now with the holiday season approaching it can be stressful and easy to forget the true meaning of what the holidays should be about.
We should all be giving thanks to what we have everyday but Thanksgiving is when people think they should really show it. I will be perfectly honest, I am not a fan of Thanksgiving but it has taken a pandemic for me to really appreciate what I have.
There is a lot of negative things happening in the world right now but just remember that what is important to you and what makes you you, is all that should matter. Taking care of yourself should be a main priority.
All the shortages going on can add to the stress of the holiday season but remember to take deep breaths and breaks from what is causing you stress. Remember to really take the time to spend time with loved ones as much as you can and show that you appreciate the joy they bring to your life.
Thanksgiving is a time to be with family, relax and nap with the football game on. Don’t let the overwhelming feeling of cooking the turkey and side dishes take away from the enjoyable family time.
Question:
- What are you thankful for this November?
